So why Weddings?
It’s the feeling.
Prior to shooting my first wedding, I had actually only attended 2 smaller family weddings, when I was far too young to fully appreciate them.
You can feel it in the air, something is just different. It’s an intoxicating occasion of raw human emotion and something I truly hope I will never become desensitized to.
I love being apart of the day, knowing that the photos I take and the videos I shoot will be immortalised forever as a snapshot in your story.
The guy behind the camera...
I’m Josh, owner and director of Paragon Digital Australia. I had never actually intended to follow a career in Photography and Videography as it never even occurred to me that it could be anything more than an expensive hobby. I’ve been handling cameras since the age of 11, back when the cassette tape video camera was a revolutionary advance on the consumer market and many years later found myself selling cameras for some of Australia’s largest retail stores. With my knowledge and experience with cameras, I kept finding myself in situations where I had been asked to take photos or film an event until one day the penny FINALLY dropped. Slowly I found myself moving closer and closer to my passion, letting every day carry a new experience full of adventure and surprise.
